This policy explains what information Educo M.R. Ltd. (“Educo”, “we”, “us”) collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. It covers our websites at educo.academy and its subdomains, and our internal software tools, including any tool that accesses YouTube API Services.
Educo M.R. Ltd. is an educational media company registered in Israel. We produce and publish educational content in economics, finance and investment literacy across a network of YouTube channels and our own websites.
When you visit our websites we may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and pages viewed. This is used to keep the sites working correctly and to understand aggregate usage. We do not use this information to build individual profiles.
If you contact us, subscribe to a mailing list, or purchase a course or product, we collect the information you give us for that purpose, such as your name and email address.
Our internal operations tools are used only by Educo staff. They do not collect information from members of the public and are not available for public use or registration.
Educo operates an internal software tool that uses YouTube API Services to manage metadata on YouTube channels that Educo owns and controls. By using our tool you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and you acknowledge that information handled through it is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
The tool authenticates using OAuth 2.0 with a single Educo-owned account that holds owner or manager permissions on the channels concerned. Through the YouTube Data API it retrieves and updates information relating solely to those channels, including:
Data retrieved through the YouTube Data API is stored temporarily on Educo-controlled systems for the duration of a processing run and is deleted within thirty (30) days. It is not transferred to any external service.
Access granted to our tool through a Google account can be revoked at any time using the Google security settings page at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Further information is available in the Google Privacy Policy.
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that host our websites or process payments on our behalf, and only to the extent needed to provide that service, or where we are required to do so by law.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information in our care, including restricting access to internal tools and stored credentials to authorised personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our services are directed at a general and adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
